The bridesmaid shoes got their day out, but not the ski socks. And I´ve left the rain and tea behind in Ireland for a month in South America.
Despite the shop assistants determinadness ( of course that is how its spelt!) that it would be arctic here, its a nice 19 degrees, and we have walked 5.2km already today around the city (and no I wasn´t shaking the pedometer for extra steps!)
I have discovered that I forgot the cable to upload photos off my camera. So you can breathe a sigh of relief, that for now that I wont plaster the page with photos of ´Me in BA´ , ´Roz in BA´, Me and Roz in BA´... I will figure it out though. So, its really only just sinking in that I am here and that the 18 hours I have just travelled will pale into insignificance when we travel south and take a 35 hour Bus. Eeek! You can look forward to pictures of the chicken on the bus, the goat on the bus and the people on the bus. Coming Soon...

oh no you didnt! A blog! god damit woman you will be talking about yourself in the third person next. Enjoy your time there meeting new people and having new experiences , dont waste your time writing about them to people who will only get jealous anyway, you will be back behind a keyboard in no time when you get home, keep a diary instead. You will have nothing to tell people when you get back if you tell them everything on a blog. Half the fun of going away is coming back and recounting stories of your travails. Dont do it!
